About Snowy Cove Malamutes

This is John, the sire of the pups in the kennel.

Snowy Cove Malamutes are as most malamutes a cross between wolves and huskies, a sort of wolf dog. Most of then generally have the same type of fur pattern, Occasionally there are some with spots or solid colored fur. They are all a soft fuzzy grey untill they are about 6-8 weeks old, Untill then they stay with their mother. Their colors range from black to white, rusty to a slate grey. Their eyes are usually brown or blue, sometimes green, amber or odd-eyes happen.

When the pups are born they are blind and deaf for about week then their ears begin to 'open' at about 3 weeks their eyes will begin opening. And after about 5 weeks their eyes and ears are open, and they have most of thier teeth, which are usually fully in by the 6th week. Once they are fully weened, by the 6th, 7th, or sometimes 8th week they will be broght back to the kennel and adopted out.

Once adopted they go through pup, adolescent(sp? I cant spell if you havent noticed), Adult. They all grow at the same speed, within a day or two. Once they grow up you can show them and breed them. More one that once there are some adults out. Go See The Dogs
